A general day begins at 6/7AM where all employees report to shop to load vehicles and get routes for the day. Routes are usually made to be completed within 6-10 hours. Occasional weekend work may be needed. A valid Drivers License IS required as well as reliable transportation to get to work.
Pay is semi-monthly (direct deposit is available).
The season runs end of March through October/November and employees are welcome to stay during the winter season to work as well.
Previous landscaping experience in a commercial setting is preferred.
Use of smartphones is required to check into work sites to document completed work (provided by ASFM).

Performs mowing, trimming and edging turf areas using a riding mower, push mower, weed whip and edger.
2.
Mulches, weeds, removes thatch, aerates, and trims and edges around flower beds, walks, pathways and walls.
3.
Prepares planting beds with hand and power tools; integrates soil amendments; plants bulbs, flowers, ground covers, trees, and shrubs; applies mulch.
4.
Inspects trees and landscape plants for pests and disease.
5.
Prunes trees, shrubs, vines, and hedges.
6.
Applies seed, fertilizer, and chemicals.
7.
Drives truck to transport plants and materials/tools.
